OUR STORY
Founded in 1994 by Mike Connors, Apache Trout Grill was born from a deep love of the Northern Michigan outdoors and a passion for the fresh fish he caught while fly fishing. Nestled along the shores of Grand Traverse Bay, our waterfront location offers one of the most stunning views in Traverse City. In August of 2018, the restaurant was purchased by Jeff Lobdell, a longtime restaurateur dedicated to preserving and enhancing its legacy. Today, Apache Trout Grill remains one of the area’s top dining destinations, featuring signature dishes such as hand-cut choice steaks, fresh seafood, and seasonal specialties—each prepared with the freshest local ingredients available.
